How can i prepare for my shoot?

The best way to prepare is to feel relaxed and comfortable. Wear clothes that make you feel great, something that you would wear to meet a friend for coffee. Try to avoid large labels because they date the images a lot quicker and can be distracting.

Coffee, tea, and water are available. There’s a changing room and toilets for you to do your outfits, hair and makeup. Free parking is available around the building (for 2 hours) and paid parking is nearby if you’re staying for longer.

when will i get my images?

You’ll usually get the proofs from me on the same day as the shoot, and always within a day, via an online gallery for you to proof to your heart’s content!

From this gallery, you can select your chosen images. I’ll then arrange for you to have the fully retouched, ready-to-use images within seven days.

If you want to order more images, you can do so at any time for £20 per image. If you want to arrange another shoot, let me know!

Let me know ASAP; send me an email email me at studio@jamesmelia.com. If you want to give your slot to another person, let me know their details so I can contact them.

Please note that I do not refund appointments if they are cancelled with less than 14 days' notice.
